The Gaastra Hybrid 2023 Red C1 is the windsurf sail that lets you do it all! The Hybrid guarantees performance and fun and was introduced last year! With three sail lines in one range, the Gaastra Hybrid is the most complete line on the market. Each size is specifically developed for its intended use. Each size has a design variation to suit the right wind and water conditions.
From 5.2 to 6.4, the Hybrid switches to a classic 5-batten bump-and-jump profile for high speed, stability and power in the sail. These mid-range sizes are the perfect choice when conditions become a little less consistent.

Profile
Fiberglass and tube battens in the center of the sail provide a perfect profile for stability and performance. When conditions start to get a little more challenging, the X-Ply window provides protection, making the Hybrid resistant to damage.
In the largest sizes, from 6.7 to 8.2, the full freeride profile with 6 battens offers the fastest combination. The combination of tube battens and the full profile maximizes freeride performance for early and fast planing, even on lighter days.

The Hybrid 2020 was updated with the brand-new parallel batten concept and a changed seam shape, making this powerful sail range smoother and more attractive. The new batten specifications in the larger sizes reduce backhand pressure in challenging conditions.
