The mittens can be worn with or without the inner glove.
The mittens are made of Gore-Tex material, the most waterproof material used in gloves.

The Burton Deluxe Gore-Tex glove is a comfortable, warm, breathable, and waterproof mitten. It features a leather palm and a Screen Grab® thumb, so you can easily use your phone without taking your glove off.
