That’s because they’re made with the Living Lining® technology. It keeps them warm enough without adding extra weight. They have insulated pockets to warm your hands.

They definitely offer enough storage space, with 2 large extra pockets on the side of the leg. They also have extra ventilation, with 2 zippers running from knee to knee along the inside of the legs for extra cooling when it gets too warm.
