For more than 30 years we have specialized in the sale of snowboards, bindings, boots and all winter sports accessories. This means we can always help you and you are guaranteed to leave with the right snowboard that suits you after a visit to our store! A lot has happened in the snowboard industry over the past 10/15 years. Where there used to be only camber boards, things are now quite different. Currently you have countless shapes and bends such as: rocker, flying v, cam rocker, flat, s rocker, hybrid, pop up camber, camber, twin, directional, twin directional, tapered and so on! To help you with these terms, we offer you the best explanation and service when you visit our store or when you email or call us! This way you can be sure that you buy the right snowboard that suits you! To give you some more clarity, we explain the most important bends below:

  • Camber: This bend is the most traditional bend, where the board is convex over the entire effective edge line. This means that you can press the board in the middle before the base hits the ground. This shape offers a lot of grip, and with a stiff board this bend is ideal for accelerating or generating a lot of pop during your jump.
  • Rocker: This bend is the complete opposite of camber, the board has the bend of a banana, with the middle of the board lying on the ground and the board slowly rising as you move. gets closer to the nose and tail. This bend provides a lot of turning ease and is very manoeuvrable, often suitable for the novice snowboarder.
  • Flying V: This bend was designed by Burton and offers both worlds. With a Flying V bend you have camber under the bindings and rocker between the bindings at the nose and tail. This bend is the most all-round and suitable for the snowboarder who wants to do a bit of everything!
  • Camrocker: This bend is now used by every brand. The board has camber in the middle and rocker on both outsides. This bend also provides the best of both worlds, giving you a very all-round board that many snowboarders often find very pleasant!
