Neilpryde SPX 95% SDM carbon mast

The Neilpryde SPX 95% is an ultra stiff and light mast from the Neilpryde brand, which is slightly sturdier than the 100% mast. The carbon percentage of 95% makes this almost the lightest and stiffest mast in the collection. The added fiberglass makes this mast much stronger and less vulnerable than the 100% carbon mast. This mast has a Flex-top curve as all Neilpryde sails must have according to Neilpryde. Furthermore, the mast contains the unique Shark Skin technology. This mast is perfect for the top sails such as the RS: Flight evo, RS: Slalom evo and the RS: Racing evo. Given that These sails require a very stiff mast and these are the Neilpryde SPX 95% SDM carbon mast and the Neilpryde SPX 100% carbon mast from Neilpryde. Also perfect for Neilpryde's freeride and freerace sails, but the masts with a slightly lower carbon percentage are also good for this.

What does shark skin mean?

TPX and SPX masts are finished with the unique "Shark skin" surface structure layer. This low friction layer prevents wet materials from sticking to the mast surface and reduces friction.
