The Starboard Airplane is the inflatable windsurf board from Starboard. The board can be inflated to 18 PSI, making it super stiff and sturdy. The Airplane comes with foot straps and a special mast base, making it almost as good as a regular surfboard.

The Starboard invention team created a planing inflatable windsurfing board. A patented 3D edge of elastomer composite rail runs along the board's rails, creating a hard edge that provides directional stability and increased speed, yet still folds and rolls. They have improved the Rail Edge to improve grip while jibing.

Starboard has both improved the top speed and reduced air resistance for the Airplane. There is a fixed box in the Airplane so that the board planes well. The shape of the board is now even more streamlined, allowing it to glide through the water super quickly.

Starboard's new welding technique turns two layers into one: two separate pieces of PVC are bonded into one solid unit using heat. Heat-welded PVC provides a mechanical connection that is stronger, longer lasting

lasts and is better for the environment.

The board comes in a bag with wheels. The board comes with foot straps, fins, pump and bag.
